Dedicated to the memory of Maureen Wake
This site is a tribute to Maureen Wake. She is much loved and will always be remembered by her family and her many friends.
Maureen was a keen supporter of the RNLI and collected money for the charity for many years. She began after the Bridlington Lifeboat Disaster in 1952 when two of her school friends and a lifeboatman were drowned.
With several of her family living by the sea, we would welcome donations to the RNLI in Maureen's memory to support the selfless work that they do.
If you are willing to do so, we would be very grateful if you would add your own tribute to Maureen (and include your name) as we would like to create a book in remembrance of Maureen with as many memories as possible. Thank you.
